LORO PIANA
KNIT DESIGN AWARD
This knitting project draws inspiration from the iconic Loro Piana traveler jacket, Israel's landscapes, and the woven fabrics of Maskit, a pioneering Israeli fashion brand. The collection includes 20 new swatches and a coat made using STOLL machines.
The materials used are high-quality wools sent from Italy.
TLV FASHION WEEK 2023 FOR ROTEM SHAUL
This project is a collaboration with the Israeli designer Rotem Shaul and was inspired by the groundsel flower and the quote "There are always flowers for those who want to see them" by the painter Henri Matisse. The purpose of the collection is to reflect the power of choice that each woman has, whether to see her flaws or her wonders (the flowers). The knits were knitted by hand and are made of mohair and merino wool.
WHITE NIGHT
The collection draws its inspiration from the term - "White Night," seamlessly blending the duality of colors and material contrasts. The color black encompasses notions of obscurity, sensuality, and uncertainty, whereas the pristine white hue emanates a sense of serenity, purity, sanctity, and tranquility. The project was done entirely by manual machine and combines natural and synthetic materials, which give a contrasting effect between the different knits.
INTERGENERATIONAL STORY
The project was inspired by the quilt blanket I received in my childhood and by my grandmother's paintings. Her paintings display colorful, harmonious, and peaceful nature scenes.
The jacket was knitted using a manual machine with Alpaca wool threads. Then, the pieces of fabric went through a process of felting, and together they were connected to a large, colorful, and embracing jacket
ATOPIC DERMATITIS
In my childhood, I suffered from a skin condition. During the work process, I connected with the feelings and emotions I felt then, and expressed them through from that period and express them through the knittings I created for this project. The collection illustrates the harsh appearance of the condition and its healing through a soothing ointment.
The project was done by manual machine using natural threads woven with beads.
INFINITE FLOWERS
FOR DELTA GALIL
collaboration with Hadar Gershon
The project aimed to design activewear items and was sponsored by “Delta Galil”. The inspiration came from flowers, mainly focusing om the small on the small details within them. The jacket prints were created using hand-drawn flower illustrations and the creation of watercolor stains. Subsequently, they were digitally printed onto fabrics and sewn into the jackets.
SCARVES INSPIRED BY PUCCI
This scarf collection was inspired by “PUCCI”. The main pattern’s themes were: greenery, colorfulness, symmetrical shapes, and abstract forms. Initially, the drawings were painted in watercolors, then they underwent digital processing, and finally printed on cotton fabrics.
